Regional groups urged AICHR to address human rights concerns arising from Brunei's Syariah Penal Code

Regional groups urged AICHR to act on the matter by engaging the government of Brunei to conduct dialogues, sharing of information and develop strategies to protect vulnerable groups that will be impacted by the law. They also urged the AICHR to make a clear statement expressing concern over Brunei.
